Present Simple Batas

  • Sa ikatlong panauhan isahan (he/she/it), dinadagdagan ang pandiwa ng -s o -es.
    He works in an office.
    She watches online courses.
  • Mga tuntunin sa baybay para sa ikatlong panauhan isahan:
    • mga pandiwang nagtatapos sa -o, -sh, -ch, -ss, -x → magdagdag ng -es
      He goes to the gym.
      She washes the dishes.
    • pandiwang nagtatapos sa katinig + y → ang y ay nagiging ies
      He studies English every day.
    • pandiwang nagtatapos sa patinig + y → magdagdag lamang ng -s
      She plays tennis on Sundays.
  • Karaniwang inilalagay ang mga pang-abay ng dalas bago ang pangunahing pandiwa at pagkatapos ng pandiwang to be.
    I always check my email in the morning.
    She is often late for meetings.
  • Madalas gamitin ang Present Simple para sa mga iskedyul at regular na pangyayari.
    The meeting starts at 10.
    Our team call takes place every Monday.

  • Ang mga tanong na Yes/No ay binubuo gamit ang mga pantulong na pandiwang do at does.

  • Pagkatapos ng does, ginagamit ang pangunahing pandiwa sa batayang anyo (walang -s).

  • Maiikling sagot:

    — Yes, he does. / No, he doesn’t.
  • Ang mga Wh na tanong ay binubuo gamit ang salitang pananong + do/does.

  • Kapag ang tanong ay tungkol sa simuno, hindi ginagamit ang do/does.
